Property group Marlebone Ltd has unveiled outline proposals for an expansive office-led mixed-use scheme in Glasgow’s Broomielaw area.

In prospect is a complex with building heights of 80.5 and 94 metres providing both grade A office floor space as well a hotel, shops, bars and restaurants in a development of about 51,100 square metres.

The site, between Washington Street and McAlpine Street, is in the principal office area within the city centre and is allocated for commercial development in existing development plans like Glasgow City Plan 2.

Thomson Hunter Architects has applied for planning permission in principle to Glasgow City Council for what is described as “a significant and prestige mixed-use building” of up to 25 floors.
