Sue Manns: Planning profession must be more diverse

Work to ensure the planning profession becomes 'truly' reflective of society must continue, the new president of the RTPI, Sue Manns, has said in her inaugural speech.

The address was given at a meeting of the RTPI’s General Assembly at the Royal Society of the Arts in London today (22 January).

Sue Manns FRTPI, the institute’s seventh female president in its 106-year history, said the profession still had “a long way to go” in terms of diversity, particularly in senior positions.
