RTPI vexed by proposals to restrict powers to control PDRs

Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) proposals that aim to place ‘greater emphasis’ on beauty and placemaking and ensure that development that is not well designed is refused are welcome, says the RTPI, but planners need to be resourced to back them up.
