RTPI Scotland calls for investment in the planning system

While commitments in the Scottish Budget to tackle the climate crisis have been welcomed by RTPI Scotland, the institute wants to see more investment in the planning system.

The Scottish Budget includes funding aimed at accelerating the country’s transition to a net-zero economy, with £1.8 billion allocated for low-carbon infrastructure among other measures.

It also pledges:

  • £270 million to boost rail services.
