RTPI president says North York Moors mine sets benchmark for sustainability

RTPI president Ian Tant has visited the North York Moors as part of his recent two-day presidential trip to Yorkshire.
Tant was welcomed to the North York Moors National Park by park authority chief executive Andy Wilson, chair of the planning committee David Hugill, and director of planning Chris France.
In the park is Woodsmith Mine, a new polyhalite mine being developed by Sirius Minerals in Sneatonthorpe, near Whitby.
