RTPI members recognised in Birthday Honours

Two RTPI members have received Orders of the British Empire in the 2018 Queen’s Birthday Honours.

David Joy MRTPI, chief executive at London and Continental Railways Ltd, has been awarded an MBE for services to urban regeneration.

Jon Rouse HonMRTPI, chief officer at Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership, has been awarded a CBE for services to health and social care.

In total, seven people were honoured for their services to housing, infrastructure and transport.

The RTPI has also congratulated:

  • David John Climie, lately project director, the Forth Replacement Crossing Project, Transport Scotland, who received an OBE for services to engineering.
  • Cathleen Pauline Reeves, deputy director, road user licensing insurance & safety, Department for Transport, was awarded an OBE for services to local sustainable transport.
  • Elizabeth Ruth Cuddy, board member at Radius Housing, has been awarded an OBE for services to the Social and Affordable Housing Sector in Northern Ireland.
  • David Harry Done, chief executive officer at Richmond Housing Partnership was awarded an OBE for services to housing provision.
  • David McCallum has received an MBE for services to housing in Northern Ireland.
  • Teresa McNally, member, Scottish Federation of Housing Associations, received an MBE for services to community housing.
  • David Campbell Orr, chief executive at the National Housing Federation, received a CBE for services to housing.
