RTPI Cymru has launched a competition to collect photographs and drawings depicting planning in Wales.

The institute is working with the Planning Directorate of the Welsh Government on the competition.

They are looking for images that portray different aspects of the built and natural environments, as shaped by the planning system and development in Wales.

The images may be used in planning documents, including Planning Policy Wales and the National Development Framework.

Images can cover a range of topics, such as:

  • Agriculture and rural planning
  • Climate change
  • Coast
  • Historic environment
  • Development – housing/infrastructure/retail
  • Tourism and recreation

Submissions should be marked with a name, address, contact telephone number (daytime and evening), and the subject and location of the photo or drawing. The entry should be of printable quality.

Submission must be sent by email to [email protected] by 11pm (GMT) on Friday 10 November 2017.

The winner, to be announced in December, will receive a one-year family membership to Cadw sites.

More information about the competition, as well as the terms and conditions, visit the RTPI website.
