RTPI concerned about councils’ capacity to deliver London Plan

The draft London Plan contains some ‘bold aspirations’ for place-making, according to the RTPI, but the institute is concerned about the capacity of the city’s local authorities to deliver.

The RTPI has cautioned that the bold aspirations in the plans are threatened by under-resourced local authority teams, a lack of land supply, and uncertainty surrounding key infrastructure funding.
