RTPI chief executive takes on Office for Place role

Victoria Hills, the chief executive of the RTPI, has become a member of the advisory board of government’s new Office for Place.

The new body aims to help local authorities and communities “banish ugly developments and deliver beautiful, green homes and places using Britain’s world-class design expertise”. The group, which features developers, architects and planners, will be chaired by Nicholas Boys Smith, director of Create Streets and previously co-chair of the Building Better, Building Beautiful Commission.........
