Planning research conference requires abstract submissions

Words: Laura Edgar

The deadline submission date for abstracts for the 2015 UK-Ireland Planning Research Conference is fast approaching.

The deadline for the submission of abstracts is 1 June 2015, and the deadline for registration for the event is 1 July 2015. Submission of an abstract does not confirm the submitter will be speaking.

The chosen abstracts will be discussed at the conference in addition to the other programme events, which will be held over 9-11 September at London Southbank University.

The three-day programme includes talks from industry professionals and experts in their field about the future of planning as well as round-table discussions on neighbourhood planning.

Keynote speakers include Royal Town Planning Institute president Janet Askew and Mark Tewdwr-Jones, professor of town planning at Newcastle University.

Abstracts for the conference can be submitted as a Word attachment to: [email protected]

Abstracts can be a maximum of 250 words. For more information please visit London Southbank University.

The RTPI Awards for Research Excellence will be held on 10 September, during the UK-Ireland Planning Research Conference.
