Liz Peace is stepping down from her high-profile role of boosting the regeneration around Birmingham’s HS2 terminal to take up a similar post in London.

She is moving from her role as chair of the Curzon Urban Regeneration Company, which was launched in 2014 to steer development and the building of 2,000 homes.

Peace, a former chief executive of the British Property Federation, is to become chair of the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation. This is overseeing a massive programme of development near Hammersmith, London, which will feature HS2 and Crossrail stations.
