Revised noise planning regime for Belfast airport kicks-in

The Department for Infrastructure has agreed to a new planning regime for George Best Belfast City Airport with immediate effect.

Hundreds of new homes proposed for Castlereagh and Carryduff

Proposals for a total of nearly 250 new homes have been lodged with Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council at two sites, one in Carryduff and the other in the Belfast suburb of Castlereagh.

BBC applies to redevelop its Belfast HQ

The BBC has submitted a planning application for the redevelopment of Broadcasting House in Belfast. Plans include a new central ‘hub’ that links existing buildings and a new public plaza on Linenhall Street.
