Will the UK leave the European Union with or without a deal? As the UK heads towards the Halloween deadline, it’s far from clear. But what would no-deal actually mean? Over the past week The Planner has spoken to built environment professionals across the spectrum to find out what the effect could be for planning, infrastructure and the environment.

The RTPI has previously raised concerns that a no-deal Brexit would adversely affect the UK economy, affecting the number of jobs, undermining tax revenues and causing repercussions for public services.
