A £10 million office development has been proposed for Belfast’s Linen Quarter.

English property developer Domus UK Ltd, owned by NCH Capital, is planning the redevelopment of buildings in Linenhall Street to the south of the Ulster Hall, and 8-10 Clarence Street.

It is the latest development planned for the area; the BBC has already submitted plans for its redevelopment of Broadcasting House.

The new buildings will include 5,000 square metres of grade A office space, as well as new flats for the site, which is in a city centre conservation area.

The scheme has been designed by Hester Architects, which has carried out work on student accommodation at York Street, also developed by Domus.
