Mixed reaction to proposed NPPF revisions

Professionals from across the planning and housing industry have responded to revisions proposed for the National Planning Policy Framework (NNPF), with some broadly in support of measures and others disappointed, stating that they do not go far enough.

The RTPI will lead on the consultation of the revised NPPF. John Acres, MRTPI, president of the institute, said that many factors contributing to the housing crisis lie outside the planning system.
