London needs support to create an infrastructure evidence base

The government should support London in the creation of a digital evidence base for infrastructure, including location, assessments of capacity and need, and scenario modelling tools to support effective planning.
An evidence base for each of London’s five ‘sub-regions’ would provide local authorities, landowners, developers and communities with knowledge of what is needed and where.This is one of four recommendations in Planning for Critical Infrastructure in London, a report by the RTPI with the Greater London Authority (GLA), which finds that local authorities do not have the tools to effectively plan........
