Residents campaigning over the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead’s recently approved local plan have raised enough money for legal advice on whether the blueprint can be challenged. A key issue is major housing development on publicly owned parkland leased to Maidenhead Golf Course.

Horsham enforcement notice validated

The High Court has upheld a planning inspector’s decision that an enforcement notice issued by Horsham District Council is valid. This was served on the appellants and required the removal of vegetation from their land and creation of an access to  the Old Guildford Road West, once an A road, which is now a dead end serving an industrial estate.
