Permission for €150m wind farm quashed

The Irish Republic’s High Court has quashed the planning permissions granted by An Bord Pleanála for a €150 million 33-turbine wind farm in South Roscommon.

This follows a judicial review brought by local campaigners and supported by the department of heritage.
