Fracking firm to sue Stormont departments over thwarted Fermanagh drilling plans

The Department of Enterprise Trade and Investment and the Department of Environment are facing a billion-pound lawsuit from Australian energy company Tamboran, which is unhappy at being refused permission to drill for shale gas in Co Fermanagh.

Dunnes Stores has launched a legal challenge over the planning permission given by An Bord Pleanala for a €40 million extension of the Square Shopping Centre in Tallaght, Dublin.

High Court turns down challenge to Ealing shops complex planning permission

A High Court judge has dismissed a challenge to Ealing Council's approval of plans to redevelop the Oaks Shopping Centre in west London, after rejecting claims that the substitution of a councillor on the council's planning committee was unlawful and officer's report to the committee had failed to deal correctly with the proposed harm to heritage assets under the proposals.
