Jenrick replaced as housing secretary by Gove in cabinet reshuffle

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has sacked Robert Jenrick from the position of housing secretary as part of his cabinet reshuffle. Michael Gove will replace him.

Jenrick was appointed as housing secretary in July 2019, taking over from James Brokenshire. He is the MP for Newark.Last year, Jenrick, alongside Johnson, published the planning white paper, Planning for the Future.
