International property adviser Savills’ latest report on the Irish development land market says demand for housing and office space will continue to drive up land values in 2015, fuelled partly by the continuing tight supply position.

The administration has revealed the county allocations for elements of the Rural Development Programme (RDP), which supports sustainable economic development projects for rural communities. This includes tourism, agri-food and other business initiatives.

Securing the recovery - government progress report

Tánaiste Joan Burton has stressed that the administration is committed to delivering tens of thousands of affordable homes through the Construction 2020 strategy and will pump in a record €4 billion to provide 35,000 social houses by 2020. Her comments came as she and Taoiseach Enda Kenny marked the government's fourth year in office.
