Dublin City Council has started preparing its new City Development Plan 2016-2022 and consulting the public on the issues involved.

Dublin’s Rosie Hackett Bridge which links the north and south banks of the River Liffey has been voted Engineering Project of the Year by the Irish public in an online vote in the Engineers Ireland Excellence Awards.

Minister Kelly announces additional funding to tackle homelessness in the Dublin region

Environment minister Alan Kelly has  provided a €4 million supplementary allocation to Dublin City Counci in addition to the council's normal homelessness (Section 10) allocation for 2014.
