Construction on a new surfing park in Snowdonia will begin after the project received full planning permission.

Surf Snowdonia is set to bring the world's first commercial Wavegarden surfing park to Dolgarrog, Conwy County Borough, on the site of a former aluminium works.
Natural Resources Wales had previously objected to the planning application on the basis that there was a risk of a small degree of flooding.
But Conwy's planning committee has now given the park full backing.
Spanish company Wavegarden signed a contract with Surf Snowdonia to design the park, which is expected to open in summer 2015.
