General election 2019: Tories outline support for home ownership and billions of pounds in funding for infrastructure

The Conservative Party has announced that it would make the planning system ‘simpler for the public and small builders’, support modern methods of construction, and reach net-zero emissions by 2050 if it wins the forthcoming general election (12 December).
