Embracing technology will allow planners time to plan

Planning and technology experts have urged the planning profession to take bolder steps to embrace digital technology.

The RTPI and Future Cities Catapult have signed a Memorandum of Understanding that aims to build awareness among the institute’s 25,000 members about the opportunities of using digital technology, or PlanTech, to digitise monotonous tasks, freeing up time for planners to plan.The announcement comes as the RTPI and Future Cities Catapult meet housing minster Kit Malthouse today to explore........
