A reserved matters planning application has been lodged with the East Riding of Yorkshire Council for 470 homes.

Pegasus Group submitted the application for land at Kingsgate in Bridlington. The site already has outline planning permission.

The urban design team put together detailed plans, including for house type – with elevations and floor plans – and a site layout for the 470 houses. A design and access statement was also put together, which Pegasus Group says takes account of national design guidance published in 2019.

Landscaping design proposals were put together by the environment team. These included outdoor sports provision, recreation space and green corridor. The planning team set out a detailed planning statement and project managed the design, landscaping, ecology and drainage matters.

Chris Calvert, executive director of Pegasus Group’s Leeds office, said: “The scheme will bring about much-needed housing for the town, while providing high-quality public open spaces, affordable homes, and contributions toward education.”
