Crystal Palace reveals plans to redevelop stadium

Crystal Palace Football Club has unveiled plans to redevelop its home ground, Selhurst Park, to increase its capacity to 34,000.

The club intends to submit a planning application to the London Borough of Croydon in January to redevelop the 93-year-old stadium, with worked scheduled to being in the next 12 months.

The plans will include a five-storey stand, increased pitch size, improved infrastructure for supporters with disabilities, upgraded hospitality and entertainment facilities.

Architects KSS is designing the scheme, which is expected to cost up to £100 million and could take up to three years to complete.
