‘We need a national plan’, says shadow planning minister

Roberta Blackman-Woods, planning minister for Labour, has called for a national plan to set out the big priorities for the delivery of housing and infrastructure.
We have a national infrastructure plan, detailed by the National Infrastructure Commission, Blackman-Woods said, which does a “very good job” of setting out what infrastructure is needed, “but it doesn’t tell us where it should go, when they should go there, what the priorities are for their delivery”.
