A new group intended to strengthen the UK’s humanitarian response to international disasters with built environment expertise has been launched at the Habitat III conference in Ecuador.

The UK Built Environment Action Goup (UKBEAG) is a joint initiative of the RTPI, the Royal Association of British Architects (RIBA) and the Institution of Civil Engineers (IStructE).It aims to reinforce disaster response and through sharing built environment expertise with the places in the world that need it most.The group was launched today (19 October) at a side event in Ecuador titled ........
