Appeal: Javid rejects Buckinghamshire green belt housing scheme

Permission to build 131 homes on a former sports ground in the Buckinghamshire green belt has been refused by the secretary of state.

Molins PLC had challenged Wycombe District Council’s failure to decide on time its application to redevelop the former Molins sports ground and club in Monks Risborough.

Sajid Javid agreed with inspector Christina Downes’s recommendation to reject the appeal, concluding that the proposal would cause harm to the green belt resulting from inappropriateness, loss of openness and .....Sign Up or Login to read full article
