Called in: Jenrick approves Croydon towers following High Court ruling

The housing secretary Robert Jenrick has approved one eight and one 17-storey tower in Purley, after his predecessor James Brokenshire’s decision to refuse permission against the advice of his inspector was overturned in the High Court.
