Called in: Green light for £110m stadium project in west Belfast

Infrastructure minister Nichola Mallon MLA has recommended planning approval for a new 34,578-capacity stadium at Casement Park in west Belfast.

It's thought the development could cost around £110 million, with the government providing part of the funding. Earlier this year the GAA said it would provide £15 million toward the cost.

The minister acknowledged that the decision, with petitions both for and against the scheme, was no easy matter.
