Appeal: Split decision on alterations and extension to grade II* listed farmhouse

An inspector has issued a split decision on proposed works to a grade II* listed Greengore Farm, near Burnley, allowing for internal alterations to the farmhouse but rejecting an extension that would link it to another listed building in its grounds.

Greengore is a grade II* listed building built around 1600. It derives historical interest from its potential royal connections, having possibly been used as a shooting lodge in the early 17th century before being converted into a farmhouse.
