Appeal: Norfolk housing would not harm SSSI woodland


Gladman Developments has been granted permission to develop 180 homes in Watton, Norfolk, despite concerns about the effect of the proposal on the Wayland Wood Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).

Inspector John Gray noted that Breckland District Council’s main issue with the proposal was the view that it would transform Wayland Wood from a remote woodland to an urban park.
