Appeal: Listed chapel and convent residential conversion approved

Plans have been approved for the conversion of a former convent and chapel into flats, along with a new-build block in its grounds, which will create 53 new residencies in Haywards Heath, West Sussex.

The original proposal was rejected by Mid Sussex District Council because of concerns that the new-build residential block would spoil the setting of the chapel, which is grade II listed.
