Appeal: Javid refuses seven wind turbines in Lincolnshire countryside

Communities secretary Sajid Javid has refused plans for seven wind turbines in East Lindsey, Lincolnshire, ruling that harm to the character of the area outweighed the benefits of renewable energy.
The appeal site, between the towns of Louth and Grimsby, has a number of heritage assets within its vicinity. Inspector Jessica Graham found the scheme most harmful to Thoresby Warehouse, a grade II listed 19th century building that sits on the Louth Canal.
