Appeal: Listed police station to faith school conversion gets Javid's blessing

Communities secretary Sajid Javid has green-lit plans to convert a listed former police station in Hackney into a Muslim primary faith school, saying the scheme’s public benefits would outweigh the loss of some historic fabric.
