Appeal: Historic munitions store conversion refused on ecological grounds

A dilapidated munitions store within a former military depot in Hampshire cannot be converted into a home because an inspector ruled that harm to area’s ‘outstanding’ ecology would be unavoidable.

The wider area, known as Priddy's Hard, has a military history stretching back to 1750, and public access was restricted for more than 200 years.
