Appeal: Financial contribution to Edinburgh tram triggers hotel approval

Planning permission has been granted for the change of use of an office building to a hotel in Edinburgh after a contribution was secured to the city’s tramline.

The City of Edinburgh Council identified the requirement for a contribution of £149,899. The appellant, Osborne House Edinburgh Limited, has agreed to pay this amount under section 75 of the act.
