Appeal: Egg production unit would be sympathetic to landscape

A free-range egg production unit has been approved for Cae Mor Farm in Llwynmawr, after the site was judged to be preferable in terms of landscape impact.

Inspector Clive Sproule noted that the site lies within a Special Landscape Area, but that as an agricultural development, the proposal was suitable in principle.

Although Sproule accepted that the scheme would add structures of considerable scale to an elevated and overlooked position on this area of hillside, he judged that the scheme would make the most effective use of the topography .....Sign Up or Login to read full article
