Appeal: Dwellings and cemetery allowed despite lack of allocation in Area Action Plan


Hallam Land Management has been given permission to develop 355 homes and a new cemetery in Wymondham, Norfolk, despite the site’s location not conforming to one of the three parts of the development plan.

Inspector David Prentis noted that while at the time of refusing the appeal South Norfolk District Council considered that it could demonstrate a five-year housing land supply, it had since accepted that this was not the case. The council therefore chose to no longer resist the appeal.
