Appeal: DCLG rejects two wind turbines in Melton Mowbray

The Department for Communities and Local Government has rejected two single wind turbine appeals for adjacent farms in Melton Mowbray.

The recalled appeal decision letters from the office of secretary of state Greg Clark agree with the reporting inspector’s decision to reject the Park Farm appeal, but overturned the granting of permission for a turbine at Hall Farm.

Inspector Alan Novitzky noted that the sole objection of Melton Borough Council in both cases was that the turbines would be prominent features in the open.....Sign Up or Login to read full article
