Appeal: DCLG approves two schemes totalling 1,350 dwellings in Warwick

Communities secretary Greg Clark has overturned an inspector’s decision to refuse permission for 990 dwellings, and supported a separate decision to grant permission for 450 dwellings, for two appeals on land bordering the Europa Way in Warwick.

The former appeal, made by Barwood Strategic Land II LLP, also includes plans for a primary school, a local centre, open space including an orchard and community allotments, and a 500-space park-and-ride facility.

Gallagher Estates’ 450-home proposal includes comprehensive green infrastructure and open spaces.
