Appeal: Condition altered to allow permitted development for Lake District homes

An attempt to remove a condition limiting the floor space of five homes has been dismissed by an inspector, who ruled that the limit was necessary to keep the development sustainable. The appellant was, however, successful in amending the condition, removing restrictions on the dwellings’ permitted development rights.
