Appeal: Clark backs 605-home scheme


Communities secretary Greg Clark has approved a major mixed-use scheme for Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire, after ruling that the scheme satisfied the economic, social and environmental roles of sustainable development.

The scheme will also include a 60-unit extra care centre, a primary school, a nursery school, a health centre, a community hall, neighbourhood retail use and public open space.
