Appeal: Clark backs 215 homes for Cheshire

Communities secretary Greg Clark has supported an inspector’s decision to approve a 215-dwelling development in Winsford, Cheshire, against the decision of Cheshire West and Chester Council.

The scheme was brought before the communities secretary as it involved more than 150 units being built on a site of more than five hectares. The scheme was submitted by Gladman Developments Ltd, and involved development on a 9.5-ha “irregular shaped parcel” of agricultural land.
