Appeal: Car club membership pledge paves way for conversion

An inspector has allowed an appeal to convert a property from five to eight self-contained flats in South London after the developer agreed to secure car club membership for future occupants.

Melinda Property Services, which appealed against the London Borough of Lambeth’s refusal, made a unilateral undertaking under section 106 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to secure two years’ car club membership for future residents.
