Appeal: Anaerobic digestion plant approved for Norfolk


Permission for the erection of an anaerobic digestion plant has been granted for Aylsham, Norfolk, after an inspector decided the scheme posed no real threat to highway safety or living conditions of neighbouring residential properties.

Inspector Nick Palmer noted that the proposed plant would process some 32,000 tonnes of maize feedstock a year, generating 1.6 megawatts of energy.
