Appeal: Ammonia from poultry droppings could harm protected heath

Plans for a free-range egg production unit in Shropshire have been blocked by an inspector, who cited European case law in taking a precautionary approach to the impact of ammonia from poultry droppings on a nearby special area of conservation (SAC).
