Appeal: 250-home Leicestershire development will bring ‘substantial benefit’


Plans to build 250 homes west of Lutterworth have been approved after the contribution to housing provision and other benefits were found to heavily outweigh concerns.

The appeal site is located west of Lutterworth, a Leicestershire market town bordered to its east by the M1 motorway. Much of its expansion has been to the west of the town towards a gently sloping valley, and the local council has designated the area for further development.
